The Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm F1.8D is a great lens for the low price. It can produce great photos. Great lens for a beginner photographer on a low budget. Nikon’s f1.4 lens is a bit sharper and better and at F22 sharpness drops off at the edges. It feels cheap, and the shape of focus changes easily. Great portrait lens at F1.8, considering its low price.
