The Sony ILCA-68 ( Sony A68 ) was the successor of the Sony SLT-A58 and featured quite a few slight improvements in focus, megapixels, etc.
The camera still has a bit of the Minolta feel and has the Minolta Alpha, Dynax, Maxxum auto-focus mount. The newer BIONZ X noise reduction chip combined with the Exmor CMOS 24.3MP crop sized sensor, makes this camera slightly noticeably better in transferring light to a RAW file.

The camera can reach 8 frames per second, using its transluscent mirror technology and utilizes 79 Auto Focus points from 15 cross points.
It can measure light for and control the shutter between the range of 1/4,000th of a second all the way up to 30 seconds.
For those that are still using a lot of Minolta glass, this is a great travel camera, so what if you lose it, pickup a new one. Just a reliable lens holder.
