This Cawanol ( caffenol blend) developer alternative, of which each ingredient is very brand specific; Yields results that I was unable to distinguish from the original Cawanol. – This should help any black and white film photographer, greatly reduce the costs and environmental impacts to develop black and white film. Use this at your own risk and validate results, before using it on an important film, using all general accepted safety practices as with traditional film developers.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
ASCORBIC ACID – 4 Teaspoons
WASHING SODA – 6 Teaspoons
Stir in 500ml (Half a litre) of water until it looks clear, then add:
INSTANT COFFEE – 9 Teaspoons
TABLE SALT (with Iodine) – A pinch
